In-person sessions are best for young children who benefit from play-based interaction or for late-teen and adult clients working on daily life skills like meal management, household routines, or navigating transit and community spaces. For most other goalsβ€”like sensory supports, executive functioning, caregiver coaching, burnout recovery, diagnosis exploration, or social communicationβ€”πŸ”— telehealth OT is just as effective. We've designed our virtual care model to be flexible, accessible, and often more affordable since it doesn’t include travel fees. We’ll help you choose the right format based on your needs.
Yesβ€”travel and mileage fees apply for all home and community-based sessions. These fees help cover the therapist’s time away from online work and vehicle costs involved in reaching you. We do our best to group clients geographically and split regional travel fees whenever possible to help reduce costs. Cost estimates can be provided during your Discovery Call once we know your location and which therapist you will be working with.
