Loved by Clients

"I did a tally of my health care journey so far, and it struck me that all of the positive leaps forward in care have come from outside the MSP system (aka from the private/unpublic health care systems). I would still be floundering without a diagnosis if it weren't for the role you played in keeping me going and keeping me afloat.

I wanted to acknowledge your role and thank you for helping me out this past year."

Occupational Therapy can support a wide range of goals, especially when sessions take place in your home or community. We help with real-life skills like grocery shopping, transit training, cooking, organization and household routinesβ€”right where they happen. For PDAers and others who benefit from low-demand, play-based, sensory-informed approaches, we prioritize relationship and flexibility and integrate caregiver coaching. We also support sensory environment setups, burnout recovery, executive functioning, unmasking, and navigating self-care, emotions, relationships, rest, workplace accommodations, and more! Sessions are tailored to your unique needs and priorities.

In-person sessions are best for young children who benefit from play-based interaction or for late-teen and adult clients working on daily life skills like meal management, household routines, or navigating transit and community spaces. For most other goalsβ€”like sensory supports, executive functioning, caregiver coaching, burnout recovery, diagnosis exploration, or social communicationβ€”πŸ”— telehealth OT is just as effective. We've designed our virtual care model to be flexible, accessible, and often more affordable since it doesn’t include travel fees. We’ll help you choose the right format based on your needs.
For sessions within 15-minutes of Squamish, there is no travel fee. Otherwise, yesβ€”travel and mileage fees apply for all home and community-based sessions. These fees help cover the therapist’s time away from online work and vehicle costs involved in reaching you. We do our best to group clients geographically and split regional travel fees whenever possible to help reduce costs. Cost estimates can be provided during your Discovery Call once we know your location.
